god i just remembered the markiplier fandom does this too. there’s like darkiplier and markiplier and some other fucking markiplier dressed slightly differently character and they all write fanfiction about them and shit

by 2050 having multiple characters, women, or actual gay men in your media will be obsolete. why do all that when you can have 1 character and let the batshit fandom do the rest. these people’s incredible desire to produce slash fanfiction out of nothing is a testament to human tenacity and stupidity
